All kinds: friendship and collaboration, but also conflict and open violence. It depends on the period, the place and the people in question.
The Iberians never constituted a political or ethnic unit. They collaborated or competed with other peoples and with other inhabitants of the Iberian Peninsula or present-day France. Among the Mediterranean peoples they had relations with Phoenicians, Greeks and Punics, who even founded trading enclaves on the coasts. Some Iberians were recruited as mercenaries in the Greek or Punic armies. With the Romans, the relations changed depending on the period: while some collaborated with the Roman conquerors in their military expansion, others strongly opposed it. For many peasants, however, there might not have been great changes in their daily lives.
