Hunting, fishing and gathering
Vitrina 36
Cova de l'Or (Beniarres, Valencia) is a good example of the survival of hunting strategies in groups of farmers and animal herders. A proof of this is the presence at the site of remains of wild animals such as deer, goats, wild pigs, horses and aurochs. Other sites located in coastal areas, such as Cova de les Cendres (Teulada-Moraira, Alicante), provide numerous fish remains. Hunting, fishing and gathering activities are maintained by human groups during the Neolithic, generating additional resources to agriculture and livestock.
