Epipaleolithic: the last hunters
Sala V (Antiga)
Present day belongs to what is known as Holocene, a period that begun some 10,000 years B.C. It was then when the last hunting societies developed, during a period known as Epipaleolithic, which is characterized by microlith stone tools and geometric shapes, designed to arm the tip of their arrows. Examples of these materials are findings from Cueva de la Cocina (Dos Aguas) and Covacha de Llatas (Andilla), between 7,000 and 5,000 years B.C.
