Values and formats

To facilitate payments, different values, distinguished by their physical characteristics, designs and figure inclusion, were used. Traditional systems are based on gold and silver. In the first half of the twentieth century fiduciary systems were imposed, consisting exclusively of common-metal coins and bills.
