Valentia (Valencia)

Latin colony founded in 138 B.C. by Roman soldiers after finishing their military service. It was destroyed in 75 B.C. during the Sertorian wars and reoccupied on Augustan times, when it was monumentalized with a forum and public buildings such as a curia, baths or a circus.
